Important Participation Rules

For AMATEUR Tournament:

3.15 Only players who have an average level of up to and including Level 6 on FACEIT, less than 15,000 Premier ELO, and fewer than 1,000 hours in Counter-Strike 2 are eligible to participate in the tournament.

If a participant does not meet one of the above-mentioned criteria, the distribution of participants shall be determined according to the following priority system:

  • FACEIT level

  • Premier

  • In-game hours

3.16 If a participant places 1st–4th, they are prohibited from participating in CS 5×5 TEAM CLASSIC (AMATEUR) in the next CESL season, provided that in the following season their team does not reach the Round of 16 in CS 5×5 TEAM CLASSIC (PRO).

For PRO Tournament: 3.17 Any player of any level may participate.

1. General Provisions

1.1 36 Season is an esports tournament and part of the CYBERION LEAGUE. 1.2 The tournament processes are managed by the Tournament Organizers. 1.3 All communication regarding the tournament is conducted exclusively via Discord and through the Administrator in the club. 1.4 The tournament is governed by the following set of rules, which establish a unified procedure and are mandatory for all participants. 1.5 Any situations not described in the regulations are resolved by the Head Referee of the tournament. 1.6 Any changes to the regulations are communicated to participants through official channels (Discord, social media, website). 1.7 All necessary tournament information is communicated via official channels (social media, broadcasts, websites, etc.) and is considered delivered to participants. 1.8 Players will not be allowed to participate if, in the last six months, they:
  • Played in tournaments (Ukrainian or European) on the same team with Russian/Belarusian players;
  • Participated in Russian/Belarusian tournaments;
  • Played in Ukrainian tournaments that allowed Russian/Belarusian teams (even if not participating). Players who played against Russian/Belarusian teams in European tournaments are allowed if avoiding it was impossible.Players who played against Russian/Belarusian teams in European tournaments are allowed if avoiding it was impossible.In connection with the official opening of the CYBERION cyberclub in the Republic of Moldova on 18.02.2026, from the specified date, the CESL League Regulations apply to players from this region. Moldovan participants are provided with official recommendations regarding the inadmissibility of participating in tournaments of the aggressor country from 18.02.2026. Participation in RF/RB events after this date is grounds for disqualification.
1.9 By participating, a participant grants full consent to photo and video recording during the event. The Organizer may use these materials freely for promotional purposes, in accordance with Ukrainian law. 1.10 If the minimum number of teams is not reached, the prize fund is halved. 1.11 The tournament is paused during emergency alerts. 1.12 Participation is allowed from 12 years old. 1.13 In case of power outage, participants must inform the Administrator and Organizers. 1.14 Ignorance of the regulations does not exempt participants from responsibility.

2. Refereeing

2.1 The Referee ensures compliance with the rules and fairness of the tournament. 2.2 Complainant – a person who contacts the Referee to resolve a dispute, report a violation, or represent one of the participating teams. 2.3 Referee decisions are mandatory and situational. 2.4 Monitoring compliance during the tournament is the main responsibility of the Referee. 2.5 Any disputes between teams are resolved by the Referee. 2.6 Referee decisions are situational and may be interpreted differently. 2.7 Round backup is allowed only if no damage occurred during the round and the team experiencing technical issues went AFK and did not continue playing.

3. Participation

3.1 Participant – a person taking part in the tournament. 3.2 Participants must be familiar with and strictly follow the regulations. 3.3 Violations may result in disciplinary actions described in Chapter III. 3.4 Teams:
  • 5×5 format – 5 or more players
  • 2×2 format – 2 or more players
3.5 A team is considered registered only after all players complete registration. 3.6 The Organizer may change registration times, allow/disallow teams or players, and request additional information about players/teams. 3.7 Submission of an application does not guarantee participation; only the Referee grants the right to participate. 3.8 By submitting an application, the team and all participants agree to follow the regulations. 3.9 Team members may participate from different locations only in league-participating clubs in club tournaments and must specify their location in online formats. 3.10 Participants must arrive at the venue, pay the entry fee (game time), and notify organizers of their readiness. 3.11 Communication with organizers and referees must be exclusively via the official Discord server. 3.12 Participants must reserve gaming stations in the club. 3.13 If the reserved 3–5 hour package expires, participants must inform the Administrator. 3.14 From 11:00, launching any ranked matches outside the tournament is prohibited. 3.15 AMATEUR:Only players who have an average level of up to and including Level 6 on FACEIT, less than 15,000 Premier ELO, and fewer than 1,000 hours in Counter-Strike 2 are eligible to participate in the tournament.

4. Tournament Format

4.1 Single-stage tournament. 4.2 Tournament format is specified in tournament parameters. 4.3 The Organizer may change the tournament format. 4.4 Tournament platform: Challengermode.com and CYBERION LEAGUE servers.

5. Entry Fee

5.1 Players must pay the entry fee before the tournament starts, but not before 11:00. 5.2 Entry fee – payment for game time at the chosen club. 5.3 Teams will not be allowed to participate if at least one player has not paid the entry fee.

6. Broadcasts and Match Recording

6.1 Players may stream or record their games, following the technical regulations. 6.2 Players and accompanying persons (coaches, managers, etc.) are strictly prohibited from watching the official tournament broadcast.

7. Player Nicknames and Team Names

7.1 Nicknames must be appropriate, readable, not contain offensive expressions, links, hieroglyphs (Japanese, Chinese, Korean), or Russian words. 7.2 Team names must be appropriate, not offensive, and written in Latin letters only. 7.3 Short names/abbreviations are allowed. 7.4 Player nicknames must match the registration information.

8. Match System

8.1 Matches use Challengermode.com servers. 8.2 Maps and starting sides are determined via map veto on Challengermode.com. 8.3 Tournament map pool: Dust2, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass,Anubis, Ancient. 8.4 Match results are posted on the platform and duplicated on the official Discord server. Technical match parameters:
  • Official broadcast delay: 60 seconds
  • Player stream delay: 120 seconds
  • Game interface language: English/Ukrainian
  • Voice language: English
  • “Mature content” (blood, corpses, etc.) must be disabled
  • Player and opponent highlighting: standard
  • Use of third-party programs providing additional info is prohibited
 

9. Disciplinary Actions

In case of violations, referees may apply:
  • Team disqualification
  • Technical match loss
  • Denial of participation
